The only pic we had of us tog. I kinda hate it though cos of our bad posture & awkward positioning. KERRI IS SO TALL! She had to like bend down. Hahaha. Yes all of us decided to carry chanel cos WE <3 CHANEL! :))) And say hello to my fresh new nails! I never did nudes before. Kinda like it, clean & chic. :) Today was a day well spent! ( girly overkill )
PS: my skin is becoming bad again :( I rly think my period is coming. these few days I experienced a loss of appetite (very diff frm what I usually experience, bad skin, moodiness & PMS (i think lau can testify to this lol)
K goodnight sugars! Hope you guys had a great sunday too :)
Before I end, shall leave u guys with this quote that I felt was rather apt for the LHC (loney hearts club):
“You simply can’t make someone love you if they don’t. You must choose someone who already loves you. If you choose someone who does not love you, this is the sort of love that you must want.” — Israel Horovitz
I'm still not sure what it means entirely. Initially I intepreted it as "this is the sort of love you must want" , meaning it's not sth you need but sth you WANT? Conversely, it might also mean this is the sort of love you SHOULD have/ought to want?
For those girls facing this situation (you know who you are, hahaha) I think the latter would be the advice you shld avoid since it's as though you're supposed to seek after someone who will nvr like you, to force them to like you? IDK.
Your thoughts?
Xoxo

Food journal/diary
I got sick of eating western food, so I cooked chinese today!
Steamed mixed vegetables with brown rice
Ingredients: Carrots Long beans Big Chilli Cabbage Chinese mushrooms Garlic Pine Nuts Water chestnuts Ginger
Methods of Preparation 1. Shred cabbage, slice carrots & ginger, chop chilli, cabbage, mushrooms & water chestnuts 2. Marinate vegetables in a bit of sesame oil & soy sauce. 3. Steam everything
HAHA super easy right and super yummy too!
The vegetables turned out slightly crunchy for me although I would have preferred them to be more soft & nua (lol). The brown rice was also a lil hard cos the texture of brown rice is naturally harder than white rice, so I think the next time I'm gng to add tea into everything to make it like tea rice with steamed vegetable.
It's really nice cos you can taste the sweetness of the vegetables and chestnuts permeating through the rice. Mmmm. Oh I also added a wee bit of balachan chilli to enhance the flavour. I used the balachan chilli from Taho (the one with the yellow cap). It's really nice but kinda spicy!
I deviated a lot from the original recipe though, original recipe included yogurt & used stir-fry to cook the dish, haha I'm sure that would have tasted yummy as well but of course, not what I'm looking for!
